β–ΆSummary

The overall objective of the project is to propose a European program of cycling workshops for women victims of GBV and sexual violence in order to propose new tools for reconstruction by sport. This reconstruction will allow them not to see themselves as victims and take control over their life again. Additionally, it seeks to increase awareness and prepare cycling instructors to supervise and run therapeutic workshops, and in particular to deal with the specific target group of women victims of gender-based violence. The creation of a program and suggestions will present a novel viewpoint on the use of cycling as a rebuilding tool for victims of gender-based abuse. We wish to draw attention to the urgency of combating gender-based violence (GBV), its repercussions, and the role that sport plays in assisting victims in starting over. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
