360 E4HL - 360º Education For Healthy Living
▶Summary
The 360º Education for Healthy Living (E4HL) project is a transnational initiative aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles among young people by integrating physical activity, nutrition, emotional well-being, and sleep education into school curricula and community settings. With rising concerns over childhood obesity, sedentary behaviors, and mental health challenges across Europe, E4HL seeks to address these critical issues through innovative educational interventions, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based strategies. The project will be implemented across Spain, Malta, Slovakia, Portugal, and Montenegro,. To achieve its objectives, E4HL will first assess the current state of health education and youth lifestyle behaviors through comprehensive research, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Based on these insights, the project will then develop a structured, research-based educational program tailored to the needs of students, educators, families, and communities. The program will be piloted in schools and youth organizations to evaluate its feasibility, adaptability, and impact, using both quantitative and qualitative assessment methods. To maximize its long-term impact and scalability, E4HL will produce a Best Practices Guide with recommendations for educators, policymakers, and community leaders. Through a strong communication and dissemination strategy, the project will engage key stakeholders. E4HL is fully aligned with the EU Work Programme on Health Promotion, Disease Prevention, and the European Education Area, addressing key priorities related to physical and mental health, quality education, and social inclusion. By fostering intersectoral collaboration between schools, sports organizations, health professionals, and policymakers, the project aims to create a sustainable model for lifelong well-being, equipping future generations with the knowledge and habits necessary for a healthier society. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
