The Green Paths to Peace (GP2P) project general objective is to enhance the integration of eco-friendly sports practices and promote social inclusion, particularly for marginalized youth, by developing innovative educational methodologies, creating a digital learning platform, and organizing sustainable sports events. These efforts will foster teamwork, reconciliation, and environmental sustainability. The project aims to inspire lasting positive change in communities by promoting eco-conscious sports that engage youth from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, refugees, and economically disadvantaged groups, ensuring they benefit from both environmental and social development through sport. The main project outputs of GP2P include a 1) Research and case studies Compendium, a 2) digital Handbook on eco-sports & inclusion, a 3) GP2P digital learning platform, a 4) Curriculum for green sports in school physical education which will be disseminate thought a wide media campaign reaching more than 1500 people and three community-based eco-sports events gathering more than 90 participants. The project target groups are youth aged 14 โ€“ 19 years old, including marginalized youth as refugees, youth with and economically disadvantaged youth, coaches, PE teachers, educators, youth workers and community sports organisations. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
