▶Summary
The project’s primary target group remains young women, with a strong emphasis on enhancing accessibility and participation in tennis at the community level. By standardizing methodologies across clubs and fostering long-term international partnerships, the initiative will create a sustainable framework for inclusive, high-quality tennis programs. At its core, this initiative is a strategic response to tackling physical inactivity across the EU. By empowering trainers with innovative coaching tools and expanding opportunities for women in sport, the project will contribute to greater gender equality, increased sports participation, and improved community well-being, ensuring a lasting and widespread positive impact. Building on the success of Tennis4Women, this follow-up project aims to further develop and refine an innovative training methodology for grassroots tennis, focusing on skills development, capacity building, and cross-border collaboration. Key activities include the creation of tailored training programs, the exchange of best practices, and the strengthening of professional networks among trainers, coaches, volunteers, and grassroots sports clubs. TENNIS4WOMEN aims to establish a sustainable, cross-sectoral network that facilitates the exchange of best practices, knowledge, and competencies.
