EBI is a 14-month billiards instructor course with wide social implications. The projects main objectives are educating new billiards instructors, teaching billiards to disadvantaged groups and strengthening international cooperation. Biljard klub Gomes participants will go trough a comprehensive billiards instructor course led by the project partner Ask Billiard Club. The theoretical part will be done trough online courses and meetings. An important part of the instructor course is practical work. The practical parts main objective will be to promote social inclusion and diversity trough training camps for seniors, disabled people and disadvantaged children in both participating countries. The instructor course is expected to have around 15 participants including women, disabled people and seniors. The training camps will be open to all participants with a focus on women, seniors, disabled people and disadvantaged children. Some 50 new players are expected to participate in the training camps. At the end of the project we expect to have new billiards instructors who can continue working in the field and will have strong experience with training different marginalized groups. The training camp attendees will gain knowledge of a new sport and new acquaintances and hopefully stay in the sport with the help of the new instructors. Both these objectives are very important for the long term growth of the sport.
