β–ΆSummary

The "A ball for all" project activities are designed to produce the expected project results and bring an important impact in terms of inclusion for children with VI, with a priority to girls for equality. Our activities are strategically designed to build one upon the other and produce the results in a sequence. Within the first 2-months, our first stage is to update the mapping of schools where pupils with VI attend together with sighted ones as well as the inclusive sports clubs, to launch a website for information provision, and to recruit 10 mentors and 100 young volunteers. The second stage is, by M3, to launch an educational online accessible course in Moodle Platform that will be used by PE Teachers for the development of inclusive activities based on the Olympic ideals and values. Our third EWE stage is, by month-3, to launch a β€œA ball for all” initiative for schools with the use of our innovative dissemination kit. For this end, we will produce and donate 1.000 mini blind footballs for pupils. On M3, we will start the online training to teachers, mentors, football trainers, young volunteers, professors & student of Physical Education. Our fourth stage, on M5-M8, is to implement the academy for parents with VI and their classmates to overcome barriers of participation in unified NPE EWE. Out fifth stage, is to implement the European Wide Event with a consortium from 30 Program countries, M9. Our 6th stage is to implement the EWE kit to the remaining Greek inclusive schools/ clubs from M12-M15. Our last stage is, on month-16, to measure the impact of the program, identify minimum 1 good practice from each of the 30 countries on the development of inclusive sport activities and disseminate its results. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
