EFCoTS - Empowered Female Coaches of Team Sports

Barcel’hona Sport Events from Spain in cooperation with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 from Serbia, IWA Sport from Ireland, Futebola from Portugal, Handball Federation of Zagreb County (RSZZ) and Educazione Benessere from Italy would like to resubmit “Empowered female coaches of Team Sports” project that was highly evaluated as a follow up to small scale partnership project, “Empowered Female Coaches of Basketball” implemented in 2023. Project General Aim: To foster transnational cooperation in the field of women team sports. Specific objectives: - To develop new methodology for the education and prevention of sexist and discriminatory conduct that harms female players who wish to be coaches in team sports (WP2) - To equip active players, former players and fans with skills and competences of coaching and advice to achieve their goal. (WP3) - To exchange the good practices on female sport, focusing on female coaches among 6 participating countries. (WP3) - To raise the awareness about position of female coaches in participating countries (WP4) Project will include series of diverese activities such as development of guidelines, study visits, training of coaches, campaign and similar, and the activities will be organized in Spain, Serbia, Ireland, Portugal, Croatia and Italy. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
