S4S - Shooting for Success

The general objective of the Shooting for Success (S4S) project is to foster the personal and professional development of young shooting athletes aged 16-23 years old, supporting their transition from active sports careers to becoming skilled coaches and competent administrators. By promoting dual career pathways, the project aims to ensure that athletes are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage and lead shooting sports clubs at the grassroots level. Additionally, the project seeks to enhance the accessibility, visibility, and inclusivity of shooting sports, particularly within local and regional communities, while ensuring the sustainability and professionalism of shooting clubs. The initiative focuses on: 1. Educating athletes for Dual Careers 2. Promoting Dual Career opportunities 3. Strengthening grassroots shooting sports 4. Building a more inclusive and visible shooting sports community The project consortium is composed of the Bulgarian Shooting Union, the Serbian Shooting Federation, and one of the largest German shooting clubs - all of whom have identified the urgent need for skilled coaches and sports administrators to strengthen and expand grassroots shooting programs.
