CLASH - The Clash: European Combat Sports Festival
▶Summary
CLASH – Combat Sports, Leadership, Athlete Development, Social Inclusion, and Health Promotion. The Clash: Combat Sports Festival 2026 is a European-wide Not-for-Profit Sport Event under Erasmus+, promoting Healthy Lifestyles 4ALL, inclusion, and active citizenship through combat sports. The festival will engage disadvantaged youth, offering them community, structure, and personal development through Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Taking place in August 2026 in Tallinn, Estonia, the 5-day festival will include: Three days of competitions for amateur, semi-pro, and professional athletes. Skill-building sessions on refereeing, personal branding, and preventing discrimination. Educational seminars on nutrition, injury prevention and recovery, strength & endurance training, and mental health. Europass certification for seminar and workshop participants. The project will ensure equal access by providing travel and accommodation support for 200+ disadvantaged athletes. Additionally, it will develop freely accessible educational materials tailored for low-barrier training and self-improvement. To create long-term impact, the project will connect youth to European sports opportunities, including Erasmus+ Sport funding, coaching mobility, and sports governance pathways. Since not all partnerships will be established by the start, the initial phase will focus on securing at least 12 associated partners from different countries. With a strong digital dissemination strategy, including social media campaigns, national sports federation collaborations, and media partnerships, the project aims to reach over 2 million people. Aligned with Erasmus+ priorities, The Clash: Combat Sports Festival 2026 will provide skills, opportunities, and empowerment for young athletes across Europe. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
