TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More
▶Summary
The TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) project is a transformative initiative that harnesses the power of sports to enhance youth employability and social inclusion. Targeting young people in Greece, Italy, Romania, and Cyprus, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, TEAM bridges the gap between sports-based learning and career readiness. By using Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball, the project trains participants in teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving—skills highly valued in the job market. Beyond sports training, TEAM connects youth with real-world opportunities through job shadowing, business mentoring, and career networking events, ensuring they gain practical experience and industry insights. A key innovation of the project is the TEAM Sports-Based Training Guidebook and a digital video series, providing open-access resources for schools, sports organizations, and youth programs across Europe. The project’s findings and best practices will be shared through a final conference and policy recommendations, promoting the integration of sports-based employability strategies into national and EU policies. Through inclusive recruitment, structured skills training, and strong employer engagement, TEAM empowers young people to gain confidence, find career pathways, and unlock new opportunities, proving that sports are not just for play, but for building successful futures. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
