Young Academics Doctoral fellows IAS

The Young Academics Doctoral fellows IAS (YADIAS) programme within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (HORIZON-MSCA-COFUND) is a career development programme offered by the University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) to encourage young researchers, doctoral candidates, to gain momentum in interdisciplinary and intersectoral research. YADIAS will finance 15 interdisciplinary, international, and intersectoral doctoral fellowships. YADIAS applicants are international talents willing to propose and realize their own interdisciplinary doctoral research project through a bottom-up approach. The 15 YADIAS Doctoral Candidates (DC) will be recruited with individual fellowships of 48 months. YADIAS is explicitly open to all disciplines and sectors, involving the entire University in the drive towards an increased interdisciplinarity, which is considered strategic for Uni.lu, for Luxembourg and Europe. Uni.lu’s rationale is based on the consideration that the world’s challenges are so multifaceted and intricate that they can only be solved through interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international approaches.
