Summary

APPROACHING TO EMPLOYMENT is a project framed within the KA2 of the Erasmus + program (strategic association) that has taken place in Puente Genil (Spain), in Lisbon (Portugal) and in Caserta (Italy) jointly. The project has been developed between 1st September 2016 and 31st October 2017. Nowadays, adequate training is essential so that young people can better cope with problems such as ignorance about the labor market, the uncertainty once they have finished their studies or the disappointment that their studies do not adapt to the needs of the labor market. That is why this project is linked to the acquisition of transversal competences, referring to the abilities or abilities that the individual develops applicable to any area of ​​his/her life. This project has had direct participation of approximately 75 young people between 16 and 30 years unemployed or young people who had just finished their studies or in their last year of academic training. The objectives of this project have been: - Strengthen links between education, training and youth with the world of work - Promote equity and inclusion through quality learning for all - Promote business education - Increase participation and employability - Improve the key skills of young people by promoting active participation in Europe, developing an awareness of European citizenship and identity - Promote intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity - Promote cooperation between the parties involved in the project through the development of different capacities This project has had different activities divided into several phases, such as: 1. Analysis of reality In this phase, information was gathered about the profile of the young people, the needs of the companies and associations and the form of union between all the parties. 2. Information On the one hand, young people have been provided with information about their possibilities to continue studying or training, mobility opportunities, employment abroad and a list of resources for job search, mobility and entrepreneurship. On the other hand, in relation to companies and associations, they will be given information about all the grants and programs to incorporate young people into their workforce and about the Erasmus + program. 3. Training The training has covered a wide range of areas: o Erasmus + Program o Labor guidance o Employability 2.0 o Improvement of skills and abilities in different fields o Languages 4. Advice This advice has been present throughout the project and is being continued with: orientation sessions in relation to employment, mobility and entrepreneurship in which any interested young person can attend. In addition, advice on the Erasmus + program is given to organizations and young people in general interested in it. 6. Evaluation This evaluation has been carried out in several phases throughout the project and has guaranteed the quality of the project to be able to assess if all the objectives were being got and to achieve the learning expectations. The impact that the project is accoording two aspects: 1. In applicant organizations and collaborating entities - We have improved the development of new projects at European level - We have known good practices about employment, mobility, entrepreneurship and other actions related to this - We have created a solid network for future collaborations - Our vocabulary has increased in different languages - We have created synergies between public and private entities, organizations and young people - We have more information about programs, subsidies and grants 2. In the young participants - Greater approach to the labor market thanks to the use of tools for the search of employment and resources - Better knowledge about the realities of other countries in relation to employment, mobility and entrepreneurship - Openness of your mentality in relation to other cultures and people - Increase interest in participation in European and international mobility programs - Improvement and acquisition of vocabulary in the following languages: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and English - Improvement in their personal and professional autonomy In addition, the tangible results of the project have been: - European online platform with project results - Future seminar on good practices in employment, mobility and entrepreneurship and to create a solid European network for the implementation of projects at different levels. - Audiovisual material - Future projects created by the young participants - Dossier with basic vocabulary in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese useful in the world of work - Final video
