โ–ถSummary

Our project aims to bring together two groups of young people from Brussels and Quimper (Brittany, France) to meet around the creation of a comic. That comic will tell their life in their neighborhood around 3 main themes (The discrimination, small delinquency and radicalism). Those three issues have been present for far in our neighborhoods. Sensibilisation sessions related to these three themes will happen. Those sessions will be facilitated by professionals based on the reality of their daily lives. (Youth daily live) Then we propose writing workshops (to build our story throe the comic story) and Photo workshops (Shooting with professional tools and editing picture on Photoshop). A graphic designer will bring a technical support to help us to the final part, how to organize our picture on a page of comic and how make a good printing. We will be working with a small group of young people (16 to 19 years old) to carry out our project. Our aim is to make them live, as we have already experienced through other projects, all the opportunities offered by many institution in Bruxelles. Our comic book is an awareness tool for children and youth in our neighborhoods. We commit ourselves at the end of the project to make a public event to present our project and to exchange with the public about it but also to propose to the schools and associations to come to make an animation to the turn of our comic
