Summary

Background Coronavirus has revealed and strengthened feeling of mistrust among people, especially internationally, that caused raise of hostility and intolerance expression towards each other. The situation in world will further aggravate instability and feelings of uncertainty, in particular among young people. Due to this, the issue of finding additional points of support of youth is becoming more acute, and healthy relationships, communication with peers, relatives can become those points. Due to lack of time, solid research on impact of COVID-19 on mental health and safety of youth has not yet been completed, but all leading European and global organizations emphasize the importance of this issue, in particular Mental Health Europe". Importance of psychological support highlights shows EPALE report “Psychological support in Serbia during the COVID-19 pandemic”(2020). The need of youth protection during COVID through youth work (research “The impact of COVID-19 on young people & the youth sector”,2020) In order to overcome mentioned challenges, it is necessary to develop the youth skills which empower tolerance, empathy, effective dialogue, cooperation and productive self-organization. . And DFF project focuses on this problems solving. Objectives DFF aimed to foster social inclusion of young poople developing their skills of the future and intergenerational dialogue skills to help them feel confident in a changing world and find common ground with peers, family, different representatives of their community, other countries and cultures, as well as build cooperation for positive social influence in the context of COVID-19 to overcome its challenges. Through the project, we wanted to achieve following objectives: √develop youth skills to enable open dialogue between generations, cultures and people from different social strata, as well as promote tolerance, active collaboration, effective selforganization, which are required for young people to feel confident in world of future, as well as to be active and self-realized through the development of innovative blended course “I am the Human of the Future”. √provide theoretical background, best practices and innovative methodological materials/instruments for youth/social workers, NGOs and educational organizations to conduct educational events for youth on effective intergenerational and sociocultural dialogue, skills of future (Manual “Dialogue for the Future: Building Communication Bridges”). √providee youth with a opportunity to get advices on development of communication skills and solving problem in establishment of communication with peers and dialogue of generations, receiving psychological support online through creation of digital assistant сhatbot “YourBuddy”. Four transnational project meetings √ Virtual kick-off meeting in Ukraine √ TPM no 2 in North Macedonia √ TPM no 3 in Poland √ TPM no 4 in Malta Achievements The DFF project produced the following concrete results: 1.Blended course for youth «I am the Human of the Future» for young people with risk of social exclusion (O1) √ The course developed young peoples’ skills of communication, dialogue and cooperation, which boosted their confidence in the changing world of the future, made them more effective and fulfilled as well as helped them in making some real changes in their communities. 2.Manual “Dialogue for the Future: Building Communication Bridges” for Educators/youth workers (O2) √ Manual provided theoretical background, best practices and innovative methodological materials/instruments for youth/social workers, NGOs and educational organizations to conduct educational events for youth on effective intergenerational and sociocultural dialogue, skills of future 3.Digital assistant for youth - chatbot “YourBuddy" in social media (O3) √ chatbot helped young people to get advices on development of communication skills and solving problem in establishment of communication with peers and dialogue of generations, receiving psychological support online; √ innovative chatbot was used by educational institutions, youth workers to strengthen their educational programs for young people
