Summary

Background The aim of the project was to develop competences of youth workers in the field of youth empowerment at local level; to act strategically towards impactful climate action through the performative art of improvisation, mime, clown and puppetry. The issues and needs that partners and participants wanted to achieve with this project were developing new tools and methods which would encourage youth to take their climate action, to boost their creativity and develop competences with the aim of youth empowerment. To diverse the methodology by learning the clown, mime and puppetry pedagogy and tools for social inclusion, youth education and empowerment. To increase awareness of the climate change in the local and international community and encourage youth to take the initiative and take the climate action. Increasing the international capacity and cooperation with the new youth organisations at international level. Objectives Objectives: -Developing youth worker’s competences of partner orgnisations in the field of youth empowerment, social inclusion, environment and ecology through the LTTs -Delivering youth workers mobilities with a focus on sharing key competences as a point of departure for knowledge and skills sharing between the youth workers participating. -Providing European youth workers with a structured flow of knowledge based as well as experimental and participatory learning by doing sessions and possibilities for sharing knowledge and good practices and finally action oriented activities that aim to included either local youth and/or environmental organisations. Youth workers with informal activities for social and personal growth, in particularly the topic of socializing in the wake of corona, and environmental sustainability and action. -Promoting climate actions, social inclusion, tolerance, eco-lifestyle, non-formal education, E+ programme. -Developing a networking and cooperation between partner organisations and their youth workers. Implementation -3 residential mobilities 1. mime IT 2. puppet IT 3. clown, which included in total 75 youth workers -3 interconnected local phases, with 22 workshops for both young people and youth workers, which gathered 570 youth and 113 educators -3 transnational project's meetings- kick-off, mid-term evaluation, final evaluation -dissemination activities, both in residential and virtual format -meetings with local and international communities -follow up activities in all project's consortium communities Achievements -75 trained youth workers by means of the non-formal methodology for empowering youth to take climate action, directly involved in the training activities -3 international mobilities -22 local workshops organized, which involved 570 young people and 113 youth workers -820 external people engaged -75 youthpass certificates and 75 dedicated certificates "The C" -3 TPM implemented -3 residential performances: 1. mime IT 2. puppet IT 3. clown IT during all mobilities and live streaming from the performances and 3 live streaming -16 external institutions involved into the project -15 movie tutorials created -Promotional movies -1 dedicated project's website created -1 dedicated project's fanpage created -1 project's blog created -3 project's publications created -86% participants mentioned that they developed their skills and competences regarding of using clown, mime and puppetry as a tool of efficient social inclusion methodology -82% increased awareness of the climate change in the local and international community and encourage youth to take the initiative and take the climate actions -73% Increase their awareness and attitudes towards the environmental issues and protection as well as promoting eco-life
