Summary

Background Currently Europe has high numbers of young people: NEET; unemployed, at risk of poverty and/or social exclusion, and this project arises to combat these problems. The needs identified were the following: - Identify innovative, efficient, inclusive and potentially transformative practices in the youth sector that would improve the work of AJs and consequently incite the development of key learning and skills in young people; -To encourage diversity, common values and equal opportunities, valuing the potential of each young person in the transformation of the youth sector -Enhance entrepreneurship and social innovation to encourage participation, co-responsibility and the adoption of entrepreneurial and innovative attitudes in young people, making them agents capable of promoting their social and professional inclusion; -Enhance the internationalization of organizations and the youth sector, through the development of European cooperation networks in the fields of youth, education, employability, social inclusion, entrepreneurship and social innovation. Objectives MAIN GOAL: Foster the social and professional inclusion of young people, namely through the development of key competences and stimulation of entrepreneurship and social innovation. SPECIFIC GOAL: -Promote the capacity building of AJs to improve their work with young people, namely at the level of social inclusion, entrepreneurship, social innovation, NFE, key skills, employability and education; -To implement NFE and IS in youth intervention, involving the needs, problems, aspirations, challenges and expectations of young people and complementing the FE; O3:To encourage entrepreneurship and social innovation as a means to equal opportunities, social inclusion and improved employability prospects; O4:To sensitize the associative, school/academic, political, social sector, among other relevant ones, to the need to develop synergies with the youth sector, supporting the development of young people; -Develop the Good Practice Handbook, which can be generalised and applied to different contexts, enabling the improvement and reformulation of the quality of the youth sector, the increase of synergies and the recognition of the role of young people. Implementation ACTIVITIES 1) PLANNING, MANAGEMENT AND PREPARATION Activities: -Planning and management: -Internal contacts; -External contacts; -Transnational Meeting 1 (2 responsible persons per organisation). -Preparation: -Preparatory Sessions. 2) MONITORING AND EVALUATION Activities: -Monitoring and evaluation; -Virtual follow-up meetings; -Closing virtual meeting; -Transnational Meeting 2 (2 responsible persons per organization); -Transnational Meeting 3 (2 people responsible for each organization). 3) IMPLEMENTATION Activities: -Virtual Mobility; -Training Course (2 Youth Animators per organization + 2 trainers); -E-book; -Local Sessions; -Blended Mobility (5 young people per organization + 2); -Good Practice Handbook; -Booklet. 4) Dissemination and Exploitation of Results Activities: -Dissemination; -Dissemination and exploitation of results; -Dissemination Events. Achievements RESULTS -Development of learning and the 8 key competences. -E-book; -Booklet; -Good Practice Handbook. OUTPUTS: -Development of key skills and learnings and stimulation of entrepreneurial and innovative spirit; -Recognition of up-to-date, innovative and inclusive practices, methods and methodologies that allowed greater capacity for intervention with young people (mainly with m.op.); -Promotion of synergies in different relevant sectors within the scope of youth and between different methodologies; -Enhancing entrepreneurship and social innovation for the promotion of social inclusion and youth employability; -Improving the quality of the intervention provided by youth organisations and youth workers and the recognition of European opportunities for social inclusion, employability and equal opportunities.
