โ–ถSummary

Background The experience of SARS-CoV2 has severely tested the right of young people to experience life and society, strongly placing their immediate adult responsibilities before them, without being able to respect the right times (long enough) for a gradual maturation psychological. The context of the pandemic emergency required them to make an effort for which they were not entirely ready, and to which was added a gap in terms of knowledge of the importance of protection, which leads to unawareness of their precious contribution to society. Objectives The main objective of the project was to collect and analyze the good practices of the partners, implemented before and during the COVID emergency, collecting and exchanging information that focused on a careful analysis of: - The emerging needs of young people and youth organizations - Responses to emerging needs: new methodologies, integration of content, strengthening of pedagogical aspects, etc. - The educational and content methodologies put in place to sensitize young people to civic responsibility with respect to the state of emergency - The difficulties and strengths related to the elaboration of contents for a correct communication strategy - Any reticence shown by young people, both in relation to the assumption of civil liability in the state of emergency, and to the change of educational methodologies - Difficulties and organizational strengths and network with institutional and local realities - The tools proven to be most useful in order to train, support and manage young people in an emergency phase Implementation The achievement of the set objectives was possible thanks to the implementation of the following STEP steps: 1) Exchange of Good Practices 2) Acquisition of learning outcomes between partner staff and LTT participants 3) Dissemination and enhancement of the Good Practices with the aim of their adoption by other realities outside the project partnership in the strict sense (5 Deliverables) 4) Implementation of Good Practices (Mainstreaming) Achievements There are no intellectual outputs produced, they are not foreseen, but a collection of best practices from each partner has been produced and disseminated. On the other hand, the learning outcomes achieved for the youth workers and organizations involved are very important, such as the acquisition of: - Adequate knowledge of risk situations and correct behavior for the protection of the entire community - New informal, formal and non-formal education methodologies (face-to-face and e-learning), which allow the realization of educational activities and adequate psycho-emotional support of young people - New theories and techniques to improve the effectiveness of mentoship, especially in times of crisis - The ability to create collaborative and trusting environments between young people and between young people and youth workers - The ability to stimulate the spirit of resilience - The ability to change training contents from face-to-face to online and to update them according to circumstances
