▶Summary
Background The project has been conducted by three countries which are working in the area developing good practices for young people. This collaboration addressed these needs by the application of this project: 1. Long term partnership between 3 countries: The project created new partnership and professional knowledge level to 3 organizations to lead other projects related to SDG. Because of the harmony between teams, it has been decided to sustain this partnership by writing other projects. 2. SDG Hubs: SDG Student / Youth Hub model was brought to the project from the Turkish Team. Spain and Poland harmonized the ideas with their own dynamics and established their own hubs. By the end of the project, as we aimed, two more SDG Hub were established. 3. Experience of the activities related to each SDG: Working on each SDG brought a new level of our competencies and implementation area to the partner organizations. 4. Learning more about Erasmus+ Projects: The project is the first Erasmus project of the Turkish team and the first KA2 project of Spain. In this respect, it brought more experience and competence in project management and Erasmus+ projects to two different teams in 21 months. Objectives Goal 1: Learning more about SDG. Three countries organized activities simultaneously related to the SDGs. We believe that young people can play an important role to increase awareness of SDGs among their communities. Goal 2: Opening SDG Hub in two countries Turkish partner of the project is an active Student Hub in their own city, Kayseri Turkey. As SDG Student Hub, they aim to disseminate the idea that young people raise their voices on issues that concern the whole world and discuss what they can do together. Besides they are organizing activities and they show other communities what can be done by young people in terms of SDGs. This method gave the inspiration to the Spanish and Polish team to work on SDGs, and motivate and mentor young people to learn more about SDGs and being part of such a community and act together. Goal 3: We also aimed to create an impact by consideration of increasing awareness for SDGs, especially individually, locally, and regionally.
