▶Objectives
The main objective of the project was to analyse, explore and present possible needs-oriented learning space concepts for adult education as an impulse for the sustainable further development of Bildungshäuser in German-speaking countries. The aim was to raise awareness of changing customer needs. At the same time, the aim was NOT to present ready-made solutions, but to stimulate the following processes: - to open up thinking spaces in educational institutions for individual learners - to strengthen the innovative power in educational institutions - to generate courage for change among those responsible - to strengthen the orientation towards the needs of the learners - to establish possibilities of digital and hybrid learning in educational institutions - to find ways of running adult education economically - to promote and further develop the attitudes, competences and skills of staff members - with regard to the physical aspect: to give ideas and impulses for the adaptation of physical learning spaces/buildings/rooms and to stimulate the development of new learning space concepts. Hence, the development of adult education institutions towards future-oriented learning centers should be supported.
