The goal of implementing the "Cour'Age" project is to address the challenges of high unemployment, socio-professional isolation aggravated by COVID- 19, and the overall aging population in Europe. The project aims to redefine the concept of adulthood in the 21st century, recognizing that adults today have the opportunity to restart their lives multiple times due to increased life expectancy. Specific objectives include reintegrating participants (adults over 25 and senior migrants) into socio-professional life using theatrical methods from partner countries (Belgium, Italy, Germany, Greece, and Austria). The project seeks to teach specific skills, enriching methodologies for each partner, and creating an effective training model for adults isolated from professional life. Expected outcomes encompass the development of necessary skills in organizing and producing theatrical creations addressing societal issues. The project targets the socio-professional reintegration of adult participants and aims for their better integration into European society. Key priorities include creating skill-building paths, providing a unique and multidisciplinary training experience, and promoting inclusion.

All planned activities were 100% realized and our consortium agreed to change the structure of the activities, it was more efficient to meet Italian partners after the Greek meeting to talk about communication and see the functioning of their schools. Activity 1: Partners transnational meeting to create the "Cour'Age" digital platform, plan Workshop C2 in Greece. Activity 2: Workshop focusing on participants' project implementation using learning methods: drama (Belgium), singing (Austria), special effects (Germany), Commedia dell'arte masks (Italy), and performance dance techniques (Greece). Activity 3: Transnational meeting for organizers, talking about communications, analyzing the results of previous workshops. Italian partners presented the performance of their students. German partners made a video conference about independent theatre companies in Germany giving school and “Cour’Age” students the explanation on how the theatre can exist with the support of the local authorities. Activity 4: Germany: Preparing for "Cour'Age" Festival and study of the scenography. Activity 5: "Cour'Age" Festival with students performance, scenography and meeting with all the media: TV and Radio.

The concrete output of our project was the creation of a network to help disadvantaged adults to find a job with the activation through 5 theater methodes. The project structure was: 10 people with social professional difficulties, and 5 teachers representative of each partner. In each country there was the creation of a network which worked for students and for schools, with practical modules exchanged between the partners. Theatrical approach was given to the groups of migrants in each country and there were also meetings with the principal authorities in the level of major and other power structures. In the final show, that took place the 29th of november 2023 in Salle “Delvaux”, there were 120 people who represented different associations and organizations for unemployed people, for example: CPAS , ACTIRIS, Brussels’ Cultural department and students from ULB university. Another part of the Cour’Age festival was dedicated to a masterclass for 20 long term unemployed people from Belgium and migrants. After the show all the participants received Europass diplomas. The largest amount of media appearance was in Brussels, with: television (Brussels tv n.1), radio (radio Campus), etc. Also facebook was important for the social media.
