The objectives we sought to achieve by implementing this project were multiple and focused on the overall development of students. First of all, we aimed to promote the integration of people with specific needs within the student community. By establishing a consortium between peers and between European countries, we encouraged a collaborative approach which would allow students to appreciate and value individual differences, particularly those of people with specific needs. The creation of joint activities, such as the production of a play, made it possible to reinforce the feeling of inclusion and to highlight the talents of each person. At the same time, we wanted to raise awareness among adolescents of the harmful consequences of overconsumption. We have designed educational activities and concrete projects to illustrate the environmental impacts of overconsumption. Through visits to local ecosystems in each participating country, students were able to see the significant differences in approaches to recycling, thereby contributing to awareness.
