โ–ถObjectives

The project addressed the digital challenges faced by adults 55+ in the post-COVID19 era. Focused on transnational collaboration, the project aimed to strengthen the capacity of organizations working with adults. Key objectives included creating gamified online training content to enhance digital skills and fostering active engagement among older adults. The approach involved virtual cooperation, online experience exchange, and the development of interactive gamified learning materials. By prioritizing gamification, the training content aimed to be innovative, informative, engaging, and accessible to older adults with varying digital literacy levels. Outcomes aimed at improving the quality of partners' work, exchanging experiences in gamified content development, increasing participation in training, and enhancing the digital skills of adults aged 55 +. Pilot trainings refined content, and dissemination efforts aimed to share knowledge widely. This was a collaborative effort to empower older adults, ensuring their digital resilience and capabilities and through this transnational initiative we sought to have a lasting impact on both participating organizations and the target group, fostering adaptability in the digital age.

โ–ถImpact

The anticipated results of the project included: Increased quality in the work of the participating organizations, with enhanced capacity for transnational cooperation in addressing the common needs of older adults. โ€“ 14 networking meetings held. Exchange of experience leading to the development of gamified educational content for adults โ€“ 7 topics developed: Modules 1: Online Communication for Everyone Over 55; Module 2: Basics of Remote Work; Module 3: Wellbeing at 55+; Module 4: ChatGPT for Adults 55+; Module 5: Virtual Communication; Module 6: Internet Security for Adults 55+; 7: Access to online services and online banking. 1 handbook developed. Increased participation in training for older adults, with 22 elders undergoing the pilot online training and improving their digital skills and competences. Improved digital skills and competences of adults aged 55+. The project aimed to serve as a model for inclusive digital education actions for older individuals, enhancing accessibility, encouraging attendance, and providing playful training for basic digital skills relevant to their everyday lives.
