โ–ถObjectives

The main objective of the project was to facilitate generational and international dialogue on the common European values by involving participants from two target groups (young adults and elderly adults) and three different countries (Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Turkey). Our more specific objectives entailed: 1) increase knowledge and raise awareness on the broad spectrum of EU programmes ( in particular Erasmus+) which are provided to citizens of all ages and backgrounds; Linked to ADU PRIORITY: Promoting Erasmus+ among all citizens and generations. 2) Share and learn about Europe's values by reflecting on the way people lived in the past and live in the present. 3) Interpret European cultural heritage ( world- famous and less notable sites) by providing opportunities to seniors and youth to exchange experiences in a joint environment. The two latter objectives are directly linked to HORIZONTAL PRIORITY: Common values, civic engagement and participation. By raising awaress of EU's core values and heritage interpretation by seniors and youth, our message was to help face some of the most critial challenges Europe has to meet.

โ–ถImpact

Results of the SEE and Hear project achieved as regard to the participants are: - improved knowledge of the cultural heritage of the partner countries through firsthand interpretation of the history and culture of partners' regions by young and senior citizens; - improved knowledge of the objectives and opportunities provided by Erasmus + program; - stronger European identity based on shared European values. Results of the SEE and Hear project as regard to the partner organizations are: - increased capacity for working with target groups at transnational level; - increased positive image among stakeholders at local, national and transnational level;. Achieved outputs: - Common tourist routes among Skopjie, Plovdiv and Edirne; - Tourist guides - Booklets on famous and not so well-known tourist attraction in each of the respective cities - Edirne, Plovdiv, Skopjie, Stara Zagora developed by local citizens of different age and backgrounds. - Video material on places of interest developed during joint training activities that reached a wide range of citizens through TV reportages.
