The project's aim was to empower Cypriot and Irish women to be active agents of peace and gender equality. This was achieved through a series of non-formal educational workshops, on national and transnational level, which targeted women of the ethnic/religious communities of Cyprus and Ireland, and of different age groups and backgrounds. In this context, peace education met gender education, women's history, individual empowerment, and intergenerational dialogue.
