โถObjectives
The main objective of the project is to reduce the digital divide in education for learners with ASC and ID by: - Providing open access digital learning infrastructure (web app) accessible to learners (accessible, structured, interactive, and autism-specific educational content; enable educators, parents, and support staff to access resources, tutorials, and tools that facilitate effective teaching and learning); - Providing a platform for sharing open educational resources created with the web app (to serve as a repository for OER, thus foster a community of practice among educators across partner countries); - Creating methodological guidelines for implementation of the digital tool for accessible and quality learning opportunities (Provide clear strategies to equip educators with the knowledge to use digital tools for fostering academic skills, managing challenging behaviour, and building social communication skills); - Enhancing competences of educators by developing and delivering a master course (produce a multiplier effect through the ToT scheme; build capacity within schools, therapy centres, and other educational institutions to address the challenges of digital education for autism)
