Summary

The project was implemented in order to increase the level of knowledge, skills and competencies of project participants with a focus on biodiversity, nature protection, sustainable development and strengthening digital literacy. Project applicant - Gymnázium Chomutov, p.o. in the role of leading partner, he already has previous experience with a similar type of project, which he could use appropriately in the current project as well. Among other things, the project addressed the needs of people with limited opportunities, when obstacles to their participation in these projects were removed. Thanks to the creation of digital learning materials and their subsequent sharing, the knowledge level of other users of these outputs was also strengthened.

Objectives

The implementation of the project achieved the following goals: - increasing the level of knowledge, skills and competences of participants in relation to biodiversity, nature protection and climate - increasing the level of knowledge and competence of the participants regarding the geographical and physical characteristics of the areas of interest - supporting digital competences of participants - supporting people with limited opportunities (allowing participation in the project) - creation of digital learning materials - developing and deepening the connection between practice and theory (research), both for students and teachers.

Activities

The main activities of the project were as follows: - Student mobility in the Czech Republic (event in the period 06.06. - 11.06.2022, boating excursion and exploration of the surroundings of the Vltava River) - Student mobility in the Slovak Republic (event on 25/09 - 01/10/2022, tourist activities and exploration of the territory of Malá and Velká Fatra, High Tatras) - Creation of digital learning materials and their sharing. Accompanying activities were: - Meeting of project teams in the Czech Republic (joint meeting in 03/2022) - Project management (continuously from 01/2022 to 06/2023). As part of the project, the necessary equipment and aids for the implementation of individual activities were also purchased for both project partners.

Impact

The specific output of the project is created digital teaching materials (teaching presentations): - Vltava - Biodiversity of the Turks and Western Tatras region - Climate changes and their influence - Natural science activities focused on biodiversity and the environment. The presentations are published and freely available on the project's special website (see: https://erasmus43.webnode.cz/) and Beneficiary Project Details (europa.eu) . Other results of the project (through the implementation of the main activities) are: - increasing the level of knowledge, skills and competences of participants in relation to biodiversity, nature protection and climate - increasing the level of knowledge and competence of the participants regarding the geographical and physical characteristics of the areas of interest - supporting digital competences of participants - supporting people with limited opportunities (allowing participation in the project) - creation of digital learning materials - developing and deepening the connection between practice and theory (research), both for students and teachers.
