▶Objectives
The EU-CERT project is dedicated to improving adult education by promoting the results of ERASMUS+ projects. Currently, these projects often lack certification or accreditation. In a needs analysis conducted in winter 2020 with 200 trainers and 50 adult education providers, 87% of participants reported concerns about the transparency and quality of European adult education project outcomes, which are often difficult to integrate into daily practice. The EU-CERT project aims to address these issues by enhancing the quality of adult education and ensuring that providers can access high-quality, practical education results derived from excellent projects. We will develop a mechanism to monitor the effectiveness of adult education projects through an accreditation system based on clear criteria and a robust accreditation procedure. This system will support shared values in adult education and serve as a foundation for civic engagement, driven by excellent educational approaches. Furthermore, the project will foster participation among European adult educators in a high-quality network with standardized practices. By promoting the ERASMUS+ initiative, the accreditation system will enhance transparency and visibility across Europe.
