โถObjectives
The project worked towards facilitating the identification and understanding of the critical challenges and opportunities faced by women starting a new business for the second time in the arts and creative industries. It identified the main hard entrepreneurial skills and 21st-century skills required for second-chance women entrepreneurs looking to restart businesses in art and creative industries after experiencing failure. The project aimed to improve the skills of mentors in an integrated manner using the train-the-trainer approach, to replicate this effect and make a positive impact on women entrepreneurs in the arts and creative industries. A dynamic networking environment was needed between mentors and second-chance women entrepreneurs in the art and creative sector, which was covered by implementing an online interactive platform Ment-Net. The project fostered awareness and understanding of the arts and creative sector, contributing to the European restoration of these industries. It stimulated collaboration, interdisciplinarity, and innovation by bringing together actors from art and creative industries, businesses, second-chance women entrepreneurs, and public spaces.
