Objectives

An explicit goal of the project was to build a bridge from the existing content and recommendations to their active application in vocational schools. This bridge was constructed through the development and implementation of special tools and training programs (educational products 1-3) for vocational education in the healthcare sector. The developed educational products (EP) include an interactive, dialogue-based, and recommendation-generating application called IDEA (EP 1), training modules to increase the willingness to use digital technologies and teaching methods (EP 2), and a blended-learning course (EP 3) for the practical implementation of learned content. Project objectives are as follows: To provide tested educational products for the target groups (direct: teachers, trainers, learners, decision-makers in vocational education institutions; indirect: training institutions, practice partners in vocational education, education departments of municipal and regional institutions, as well as ministries) to create the conditions to: • enable the target groups to use digital applications, • motivate the target group of teachers through pedagogical/individual added value, • ensure the smooth use of a learning management system.

Activities

The activities carried out included the development and implementation of three educational products (EPs), quality assurance activities, project management, dissemination of project results through publications and various events, three project meetings, a multipliers meeting, translation of the project results into four languages, and the development, launch, and maintenance of the project website. The most important elements include: EP1 (IDEA): An interactive, dialogue-based, and recommendation-generating application. Activities: - Information Collection - Analysis & Conclusions - Creation of Specifications & Requirements Documents - Programming & Testing - Launch EP2: Training modules to promote the willingness to use digital technologies and teaching methods. Activities: - LMS Development - Handouts & Templates Development - Moderator Guide Development - Trainer Profile Development - Curricula Development - Testing - Launch, Forum Activation - Revision & Updates

Impact

The specific project results include three educational products: EP1, EP2, and EP3. Additionally, three project meetings, one multiplier meeting, and two LTTA were prepared and conducted. Furthermore, a project logo and a project poster were developed, and the project website was created, launched, and continuously maintained. This website contains information about the project partners, the progress of the project, and the project results. EP1 - is an interactive, dialogue-based application (IDEA) that generates recommendations. It promotes the use of digital technologies in vocational school teaching, distance learning, and the preparation for effective homeschooling. EP2 - 'Training Modules to Promote the Willingness to Use Digital Technologies and Teaching Methods' are modules for teachers and decision-makers. They encourage the adoption of digital teaching methods and contribute to establishing a sharing culture in schools. EP3 - 'Blended Learning Course' integrates the contents of Educational Products 1 and 2 for the effective delivery of the educational products in VET institutions within the healthcare sector. Supplemented by additional materials, templates, curricula, and a moderator guide with trainer profile.
