Impact

The project involved a comprehensive set of outputs aimed at addressing the needs of young artists and social entrepreneurs in the creative sector. Here's a breakdown: PR 1: Protocol for the acquisition of skills and competences on social entrepreneurship: The project developed a protocol to identify the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches to social entrepreneurship for young artists. This protocol focused on accessible ways of learning and acquiring social entrepreneurial skills, addressing potential obstacles and challenges to newly established arts-based social enterprises. PR 2: Curriculum for the acquisition of new skills and competences in social entrepreneurship: A training program has been developed to equip young artists with essential entrepreneurial skills for success in social entrepreneurship. Comprising six units, the program guides participants through the intricacies of the creative industry, empowering them to enhance their work's visibility, refine networking abilities, and gain commercial acumen. Through targeted training, participants gain tools to access markets, secure funding, and maintain artistic activities. Each module addresses different facets of social entrepreneurship, fostering a holistic understanding. From marketing to financial management, the program offers transformative learning experiences, positioning participants for success. Interactive classes and practical workshops facilitate the development of actionable growth strategies. Armed with newfound skills, participants navigate complexities with confidence, driving positive change through their artistic vision. PR3: E-learning interactive portal: An e-learning portal - the SE4Arts Virtual learning platform was established as a web-based learning environment using a Content Management System (CMS). This portal served as a platform for young artists to acquire entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. It also facilitated networking among young artists and their prospective customers. Additionally, the platform allowed the creation of a contemporary art space for showcasing their work and projects. PR4: Development of educational modules content to equivalent EQF/ECTS standards: The project adapted the modules to equivalent European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) standards. This enabled learners to certify their knowledge gained from the modules. PR5: Design and implementation of SE4Artd Mentorship program: This involved developing a mentoring management strategy, establishing a mentoring protocol, recruiting and selecting mentors, conducting pilot mentorship sessions. Evaluation and quality assurance were integral to ensuring the effectiveness of the mentorship program. These tangible outputs and results collectively aimed to empower young artists with essential social entrepreneurial skills and support their professional development in the creative sector.
