▶Objectives
As a general objective, the DIGIT project aims at providing people that during their daily activities promote the internationalization of EU SMEs in agro-food value chain, with relevant skills, knowledge, competences and tools to drive an inclusive digital transformation of the internationalization process. Specifically, the project aimed at: A. Enhancing the incorporation of the digital skills included in the DigComp 2.1. framework into VET programs in the field of international business B. Allowing VET learners, VET providers, SMEs and institutions dealing with internationalization to acquire competences related to digital tools for online marketing and selling. The desired level of competence this project aims at is level 5/6 of DigComp 2.1. C. Promoting networking and sharing of best practices among institutions across the EU active in the field of digital and educational technology. This collaboration should enhance the development of tailor made solutions adapted to the local challenges SMEs in the agro-food sector are facing in the digital transformation of their internationalization process. All project materials were coinceived ACCESSIBLE and INCLUSIVE both to people with poor digital skills and learning difficulties.
