The primary goal of implementing the VETCAMP project was to address the evolving needs of VET in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis and to contribute to the digital and green transition. The overarching objective was to create a modern, attractive, and flexible digital education ecosystem that enhances VET resources, making high-quality online vocational learning experiences accessible to learners across the European Union. The VET sector faced substantial challenges during the pandemic, revealing gaps and weaknesses in areas such as access to technology, digital skills of educators, and the creation of digital teaching content. The VETCAMP project aimed to embrace the digital transition by providing long-sought solutions to issues such as digital capacity planning, resource pooling, innovative pedagogies, accessibility, and the use of immersive technologies. Additionally, the project recognized the importance of aligning VET with the emerging skill needs for environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economies. With a focus on green skills and sustainable development, VETCAMP aimed to play a decisive role in delivering a high-quality training program that address the evolving demands of the green economy and labor market.

Green VET Online Campus, via the activities: O2/T1: Green VET Online Campus Regulatory Framework O2/T2: Intellectual Property Rights management O2/T3: VETCAMP Online Platform Three TPMs have taken place: TPM1: Kick Off Meeting in Schrobenhausen, Germany TPM2: Interim Meeting in Aveiro, Portugal TPM3: Final Meeting in Brussels, Belgium In addition, several virtual bilateral or project short meetings (VTPSM) took place.
