โ–ถObjectives

The first objective of GIG UP is to contribute at empowerment of young people who only expreinced precarious work forms or that never worked before, by offering a program that reinforce and favour the development of transversal competences needed in the fast-changing world, encompassing: critical thinking and creativity, adaptability and an entrepreneurial mind-set. Also, GIG UP aims to prepare the GIG UP program (micro-courses package, skills assessment tools) to use gig economy as an activator for employability skills, entrepreneurial and organizational skills in young adults about to enter the labour market.

Project Result one: The concrete output for Result 1 is an online library available in English, Spanish, German, Italian and Greek with interactive OERs to train NEETs for the gig economy on: - Market analysis - Local authorities - Legislation in my country and the EU - Enhancing your skills: how to stay updated - Managerial skills - Personal branding and pitching - Communication - Resilience, mental health, coping strategies for stress - Project management - Financial skills As a result of this production, 87 youngsters participated in the piloting workshops in 2023.
