Technology understanding and sustainability in practice
▶Summary

▶Objectives
By implementing the project we wanted to achieve development and simultaneously investigate our own practice and this way increase our professionalism. The different ways in which objectives according to technology understanding would be addressed in the different countries based on the different national curricula, would overall result in much better benefit/synergy than if the individual countries would work independently and this way open up for experiments with a great number of options, of which the best would be used as lifelong learning and inspiration for teachers all over Europe. An important focus and achievement for us was how to use ICT for digital innovative proposals and calculations in relation to the climate challenges. It was also an objective and interest to involve both the UN's Global Goals and the Convention on the Rights of the Child in order to teach the individual child that they can help to make a difference. In this way, we would further develop a more secure and sustainable EU, where everyone, regardless of learning problems, race or identity, can take part in the democratic process. It was also a very important achievement for us that our project would find ownership by the headmasters at our schools

The priority of the environment and the fight against climate change became part of the priority of digital transformation, enabling us to continuously work on both priorities. To develop the priority of digital transformation, we implemented the following activities during our 36 months of cooperation to meet our needs: Numerous practical examples demonstrated how the subject of technology understanding can be put into practice. We also laid a foundation that encouraged our pupils to commit to, examine, and critically assess their digital opportunities. We taught courses based on progress in analysing, comparing, and critically evaluating the credibility and reliability of sources of data, information, and digital content. In our different and respective countries, we taught and learned about security, protection of devices, content, personal data, and privacy in digital environments. We developed and refined the protection of the individual’s physical and psychological health and raised awareness of digital technologies for social well-being and social inclu
