Constructing a Green Wave in VET

The schools wantet to learn from eachother regarding best practices. On top of this we wanted to develope a didactic model regarding implementing the relevant SDGs in a relevant way in the teaching and training in the building and construction area. To achieve this we developed several teaching and training materials and webinars focusing on sustainability in buiding and construction. All project results are available on the project webpage: https://greenwaveinvet.eu/ The main goal of the project was to implement ways to integrate the SDGs in the teaching and training in building and construction in the projects schools.

To achieve the goals of the project the following was developed and implemented: - A variety of teaching and training materials in building and construction focusing on the SDGs. 22 in total. - 5 Transnational Meetings have been completed. These meetings where the key elements to achieving mutual inspiration and common development. - We had several online meetings to coordinate the project. - We developed and implemented 5 webinars which has been used in the teaching and training in the project schools. - We have devopled and implemented a pedagogical and didactic model used to develope teaching and training in building and construction

In the project we developed the following: - Based on surveys among teachers and students we developed a analysis report with recommendations used a a baseline in the project. - We developed a pedagogical and didactic model focusing on implementing the SDGs in the teaching and training - We conducted teachers courses bringing in experts as inspiration for the development in the project. This resulted in a syllabus for a teachers course held in Horsens, Denmark. - We produced 5 webinars focusing on current issues in the building and construction sector across Europe. - We developed and tested a total of 22 teaching and training materials implementing the SDGs in teaching and training in the building and construction sector. - We made a final report concluding on the project findings and developments. - We developed a webpage about our project.
