Growing Youth Work

We applied for this project to enhance the quality of youth work across Europe. By enabling youth organizations and workers to learn from each other and share good practices, we aim to improve their skills, competences, and understanding. Our goal is to standardize tools and practices to ensure consistent, high-quality youth work that aligns with European Commission standards. Our project addresses the need for standardized, flexible tools that link local, regional, and national youth organizations with EU policymakers. Current tools, while useful, lack the consistency and scalability required for widespread adoption. We aim to bridge this gap with digital tools like GrowYOUth, which support youth organizations in planning, implementing, and evaluating projects, thus increasing their impact and effectiveness.

By implementing this project, we aimed to achieve the following objectives: -Enhance the Quality of Youth Work-Improve the skills, competences, & practices of youth workers across Europe by enabling them to learn from and share good practices with each other. -Standardize Tools and Practices-Develop and promote standardized, flexible tools that can be widely adopted by youth organizations to ensure consistent, high-quality youth work that aligns with European Commission standards. -Facilitate Collaboration and Partnership-Foster stronger partnerships & collaboration between youth organizations at local, regional, and national levels, & with EU policymakers, to streamline the project planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. -Increase Impact and Effectiveness-Equip youth organizations with digital tools like GrowYOUth to help them effectively plan, implement, measure, monitor, and evaluate their projects, thus maximizing their social & environmental impacts. -Support EU Youth Policy Goals-Contribute to achieving the EU Youth Goals by improving the overall quality and effectiveness of youth work across Europe, ensuring that youth workers and organizations are better prepared to engage with and influence EU youth policies.
