Make a good start for your life - eat like a pro!
▶Summary
The schools from the three countries collaborated in the implementation of the project for the benefit of our students and the local communities. The main theme was promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness through healthy eating. We trained our students to recognize the dangers of bad eating habits, the value of a healthy lifestyle, to be healthier, to enjoy life better, to adopt more physical activity, to get in touch with nature, to learn how to cope their own feelings and improve self-esteem by promoting social activity. All the schools had common problems, such as an increased number of students who were overweight and a decreased interest of students in standard classroom instruction. Our goal was to actively involve students, teachers, families and members of the local communities in real activities and events that helped us become more active and lead a healthier lifestyle. The planned activities made the project dynamic, had formal and informal approaches and cultivated a sense of interdisciplinarity in each partner's school community. The project was divided into 5 subthemes.
