Trainees through the project were introduced to the applications of precision agriculture such as a simple geological survey, soil acidity measurements, recording of weather phenomena, up to satellite monitoring, aerial spraying and aerial photography and installation of sensor networks. The central objective of the proposal was to inform and raise awareness regarding the applications of precision farming, so that the agronomist members of the association become familiar with the new technological applications in crops and adopt this agricultural production system and achieve significant economic and environmental benefits.
