Objectives

CLIMATE BRIDGE contributed to the achievement of the European climate goals, including awareness about climate neutral and omitting zero green-house gasses by 2050 by inspiring students and teachers through education and strong collaborations with highly experienced Research Centers and Environmental Οrganizations. School is an essential factor for introducing environmental awareness from the early age and to promote sustainability based on a holistic school approach. As hubs of communities, schools can help to transform markets, policy, education, and behavior, increase community resilience, mitigate climate change, and prepare citizens to think and act in new, creative and eco-friendly ways. The aim of the environmental education and projects' goal was to encourage students through education to adopt eco-friendly practices into daily school life and consequently in their daily lives. By creating innovative tools and interactive material for the educational professionals, students and teachers engaged in the environmental sustainability and were inspired about their way of living. The coordinating partner has also provided for sustainability with a specific plan for 'the garden of changes' an holistic approach inside school life.
