Objectives

The objectives expected to be achieved by implementing the SceneGrowth project were as follows: 1. To provide cultural and performing arts organisations with a new working methodology that they can implement in their team in order to achieve common values of commitment and citizen participation. 2. To train professionals in the cultural and performing arts sector who work with people at risk of social exclusion with the tools, competences and digital skills necessary to be able to carry out their work, committing themselves to the development of a fairer and more equitable society. To create a regional, national and international network with organisations working in the creative, cultural and social fields to integrate and connect professionals with the same concerns and to contribute ideas for the insertion and employability of people at risk of social exclusion. To encourage the full and active participation of citizens in cultural events and to value the cultural heritage of the performing arts as a tool for social transformation.

Impact

These are the concrete results of the SCENEGROWTH project: 1. The collaborative design of new training tools and methodologies to help cultural professionals working with people at risk of social exclusion. 2. The effective transfer of knowledge and acquired competencies among the participating entities, their teaching staff and collaborators. 3. The creation of a network at regional, national and European level composed of more than 60 social and cultural entities that work with art as a tool for social transformation for groups at risk of social exclusion. 4. Real access to culture for people at risk of social exclusion through the "ad hoc" design of a cultural offer. The results have materialized in: -1 manual of good practices in English, and subtitled in mother tongues (Spanish, Lithuanian and Greek). - 13 audiovisual pills in mother tongues and subtitling in English. - 3 pilot courses. - 3 knowledge transfer courses for the team and regular collaborators. - 3 local project dissemination days. - 3 learning activities (C1, C2 and C3).
