EU INTERCULTURAL PATHS
▶Summary
The main reason to apply for our project came from the need to broaden understanding about the common European cultural heritage and the link between nations that nowadays have cultures that seem far away (West - East). Taking the Roman cultural heritage as common link, the project seeked to connect students from Spain, France and Turkey and foster the intercultural dialogue between youngsters. What we have achieved is to connect students from different cultural areas of Europe to favour understanding, discover the cultural heritage and foster the intercultural dialogue within and outside the EU. This way, our students could approach to different realities and promote values like social inclusion of young people from different origins, empathy, open-mindness and tolerance and also a good command of a foreign language.
▶Objectives
When we applied for the project, we wanted to achieve different objectives, which are directly related one to another: - Promoting the knowledge of cultural heritage of the participant countries and the intercultural dialogue on values between West- East and North-South, both within and outside the EU. - Foster the understanding and the exchange between cultures as a way to improve social inclusion of students. - Enhance the adoption of inclusive learning methodologies including digital tools that would improve the academic performance of diverse students, and reduce the digital gap. -I mprove the comunication skills of students in several foreign languages and appreciate the value of them in all aspects (social, cultural, linguistic, etc.)

In our project we included four main types of activities linked to the our project's objectives and organitations goals: - Preparation course: this course comprised a set of learning activities linked to the realisation of virtual mobilities. This activity focused on the video recording and edition course taken by the students in order to create a video project with the skills they developed in this actitivity. - Networking and study visits: this second activity deepened the cultural understanding and networking between the 3 centres. The aim of these short- term exchanges was to: a)Network and get to know the centres b) Exchange of good practices between teachers and finally c) Prepare the virtual mobility expected between students on the chosen topic - Virtual Mobility: the virtual mobilities between students were to enable them to connect and get-to know each other. Cooperation and digital skills were improved, as well as their language skills - Local dissemination activities: They were implemented in collaboration with the local authorities and addressed society in general (audiovisual products, intercultural presentations, etc), with these activities our project became known by the people in the three participating countries.
