Hydrogen will be a great niche of employability in the coming years, however there is a great shortage of profiles with training in technologies and equipment linked to this energy vector. The objective pursued by Tech2nicians from the application phase has been to generate new training content based on the needs detected in the initial phase of the project that will allow hydrogen technologies to be integrated into vocational training programmes (without ruling out the possibility of implementing specific vocational training qualifications for hydrogen technologies in the future). Green hydrogen is a key energy vector in the fight against climate change and is emerging as one of the most environmentally friendly options. It was also necessary for the students to integrate and internalise the digital transformation process that we are undertaking as a society, so it was essential to make them aware of the digitalisation technologies that will play a key role in the development of hydrogen technologies. In this way it was expected to support with new initiatives the mismatches and gaps between the skills of VET students and the needs of the hydrogen labour market at European level.
