▶Objectives
The Project FALP aimed at raising awareness about light pollution which is adversely affecting environment, safety, energy consumption, climate change and health and researching, comparing and sharing the approaches and applications about interactive, creative and innovative methods for teaching scientific and environmental subjects in the partner schools, implementing these methods into our school curriculum and disseminating the results of the applications and workshops. The planned activities aimed to raise awareness and to try to find the answers and solutions for the themes: - What is light pollution? - How to measure the light pollution - Measuring and reducing the energy waste because of the wrong lightning - Research and suggestions for the smarter, cleaner and greener lightning systems for the energy sustainability and climate change as mentioned in the priorities of EUROPE 2020 strategy -Supporting the global awareness on light pollution, raising awareness about international dark sky parks, encouraging the brilliant students to study the light, optic, photonic or engineering as a profession and to be innovative and creative in this field.
