β–ΆObjectives

The project aimed to promote education on biodiversity loss and to raise awareness about its importance for sustainable development. In fact, the project analysed the relation between air pollution and biodiversity loss, to assist students in realizing the enormous impact of air pollution in their lives while it will introduce ways for actions for changing this situation and protecting Earth’s ecosystems. To that end, the project developed a Minecraft World that will help students to be actively engaged in the learning process and acquire an experimental and hand-on training experience. The main objectives of the project are: -Raise awareness about the link between air pollution and biodiversity loss, and thus its impact on human lives. -Encourage the adoption of actions that will reduce environmental pollution. -Promote innovative training methods in environmental education taking place in traditional classrooms.
