Objectives

The aim of the project was to address the identified training needs by creating and disseminating across the EU the first open and multilingual e-learning platform on digitalisation for directors and managers of third sector organisations.

Activities

During the 26-month project, we organised the following activities: 1) Production of the first version of the e-learning platform in English. 2) Testing of the e-learning platform with third sector management staff from seven EU countries (Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, and Romania). 3) Improvement of the e-learning platform based on the testing results. 4) Translation and publication of the final improved version of the e-learning platform in nine languages (English, Spanish, Italian, German, Greek, Hungarian, Portuguese, Romanian, and French). 5) Organisation of 13 multiplier events where the e-learning platform was presented to potential users and stakeholders. 6) Implementation of a very ambitious dissemination plan to achieve over 10.000 visits to the platform before the end of the project.

Impact

The main result of the project was www.digitalisationandresilience.eu, the first e-learning platform on digitalisation and resilience for third sector management staff in nine languages. The platform consists of the following modules: 1) Online course for third sector management staff on how to formulate, finance, and implement strategies to make their organisations more resilient through the use of ICT. 2) Toolkit: tools and support materials to facilitate the formulation and implementation of digital transformation strategies. 3) Assessment tool for learning outcomes. After the assessment, the platform automatically generates a certificate that users can add to their EUROPASS documents. 4) Social media in nine languages. 5) Best practices for interested parties to share their successful experiences in creating more resilient third sector organisations through the use of ICT.
