The main objectives to be tackled during this project were as quantitative as qualitative. Some of them has been developed during the project, but others have been seeded in the hope that they will grow in the future. Among the concrete objectives developed are: .- To determine the knowledge, capabilities and skills needed, as well as, the existing barriers to facilitate the development of this new profile through the integration of needs from educational level with business and social ones, etc. .- To design and create a new professional profile (curriculum and learning approaches) that will allow professionals from this sector to take part in the opportunities that bio-based labour market offers based on the real-life needed detected. .- To foster the integration of the profile into the current educational structure, supporting the teachers, companies related and policymakers, in the global transition process toward CE in the agri-food sector. Others intangible objectives have been seeded as it has been the awareness creation about the need of go forward in this transition toward the by-product valorisation. To achieve this objective is not an easy way to reach in one single project, but this project has started this process

Different activities have been carried out with different aims. The project begun with the elaboration of a stakeholder´s map with the aim to know who is who in this sector. This stakeholder´s map allowed us to develop a study on the capacities needed to address the opportunities offered in the of by-products valorisation sector. This stakeholder´s map also allowed us to integrated other external actors in the curriculum design process. One activity with these external actors was the organisation a focus group per region in order to gather external knowledges and ideas and to support us in the elaboration process of the 'methodological guideline and framework'. The second part of the project was directed towards the elaboration of the expert profile by-products valorization agrif-ood sector, which was elaborated through a co-creation process among partners. The knowledge, skills and competences integrated in the profile were transform into learning materials (6 modules, 26 units and 55 hours of training), and a MOOC which has allowed to test, analyse and improve with the participants´ feedback. During all project timeline, a 'blueprint' about how can promote and foster this new expert profile at different levels was developed.

The concrete outputs of the project have been: .- Stakeholders map with 304 actors. .- Online survey elaborated in 6 languages which has received 106 answers. .- A focus group methodology and a focus group per region. .- Methodological guideline and framework on by-products valorization in agri-food sector (PR1). .- Expert profile in by-products and wastes valorization in agri-food sector. ECVET Mode (PR2). This result has been updated three times during the project lifetime. .- Training materials composed by a general introduction, six modules and twenty-six units (PR3). Each module is composed by a module introduction (text format), module introduction (video introduction), module evaluation and the different units that the module is composed. .- A recommended planning and an internal evaluation process. .- Open Educational Resource (OER) development and testing process: BYP4DEV Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Aechnological infrastructure to host all the training material and the training process (PR4). .- Pilot test of the training course developed with around 265 participants .- Regional reports related the training course related to by-product valorisation at regional/national level. .- Blueprint & Policy Recommendations Guide (PR5).
