Objectives

The objective is identifying the procedures put in place and the tools available so that each partner can improve their identification, recruitment, training and support practices in the field of transition in order to ultimately promote the employability and their keeping their job in the ordinary companies. This will allow defining needs and requirements to define the figure coach for transition. The training of the professionals of the Support Units in each country is very varied and the preparatory conversations point out that not enough is being done and that these professionals could be trained to achieve this full inclusion and this requires a model that would be outlined on the basis of this project. This project will allow each partner to approach and know different practices of inclusive companies or companies with an inclusive human resources policy regarding the integration of people with disabilities. The idea of this project arises from a study on the opportunities and barriers of different employment models for people with disabilities in Europe and the general demand that politicians, administrative and social authorities and our own workers of the inclusion in the company ordinary.

Activities

This project addressed, from a practical and constructive point of view, based on the observation and exchange of good practices between experienced European organizations, the design of this inclusive training, to ultimately favor the transition of people with disabilities to the labor market. ordinary thanks to the actions of what we will call 'traffic manager'.The central project activities are the 5 learning activities with the responsibles partners LA 1 PARIS (FRANCE )with 15 participants in June-July 2022; LA2 NAMUR (BELGIUM) with 15 participants in Octobre 2022, LA3 MADRID (SPAIN)with 15 participants in March 2023, LA4 BERLIN (GERMANY) with 16 participants in July 2023 and LA5 WARSAW (POLAND) with 15 participants in October 2023

Impact

Learning activities attended by organizations staff, has included visits to inclusive companies and occupational workshops, and ordinary employment companies with experience in inclusion, holding interviews and meetings with managers and training coordinators and support units and social workers, in addition to workers who gave us their opinion about transition of workers with disabilities towards the ordinary company, the training of staff that accompanies the workers, success ratios, a posteriori measures and their assessment of weaknesses and strengths of the system, among others. Likewise, was organized meetings with officials or experts from the administration in matters of labor inclusion to better understand the policies of the country. Our project also produced, although the project did not include any type of financing for it, the following deliverables 1. Compendium of National Situation and good practices: PwD, Barriers, Political Trends & Legal Framework, IE: Duties Position & Tools 2. List of new competencies from our survey 3. Guide for best training 4. Training module (basic) 5. EQAVET validation 6. Exploitation plan
