Specifically, INTERMOVE+ sought to: boost the quality of educational resources promoting VET learners’ key competences through a technology‐enhanced learning environment, which is adapted to the context and needs of post COVID-19 digital education; promote the development of key competences for employability and an active citizenship among VET learners as a tool for successful mobility experiences; valorise and promote the adoption of European competence frameworks such as EntreComp (Entrepreneurship Competence Framework), DigComp (Digital Competence Framework) and LifEComp (Framework for Personal, Social and Learning to Learn Key Competence); provide training and professional development opportunities for mobility practitioners and VET trainers supporting learners’ international mobility, as well as the possibility to collaborate and exchange experiences with their peers; enhance the digital readiness of VET institutions and strengthen their internationalisation and competitiveness towards achieving the European Education Area vision for 2025.

First, the Consortium started setting the basis for the development of the training contents based on the new competencies mentioned above. They worked on the theoretical framework and learning outcomes to start creating the contents afterwards, based on templates and roadmaps. At the same time, the contents from the previous INTERMOVE were adapted into this new format. The result is 5 modules in a digital format using a mix between synchronous and asynchronous mode. A handbook for facilitators was developed afterwards. A train of trainers to test the contents with facilitators were also implemented. The e-learning platform was developed with two different sessions, one for trainers and other for students. Finally, the consortium created guidelines to customise learning pathways based on transversal competences that can be obtained from the different units of the 5 modules. In terms of sharing and promotion, the website from previous INTERMOVE was adapted, as well as the Facebook page, 2 newsletters and 3 press releases were launched, 4 events and 1 final conference were successfully organised, and some extra activities that made the project visible and available for more beneficiaries.

The training contents were presented during the train of trainers and updated thanks to the feedback collected; the e-learning platform was pre-tested before its launching; and the training pathways were tested by mobility beneficiaries.
