Digitalisation brings many new opportunities as it helps to improve efficiency and learning outcomes, but also challenges. New technologies and the Internet allow free access to knowledge, enabling people to learn anytime, anywhere, and from any device, the role of the trainer/teacher is no longer to transmit knowledge but to FACILITATE learning. The training methods are also changing: OPEN and DISTANCE/BLENDED training on PC, smartphone, or tablet. The overall aim of the project was to develop a framework for VET FACILITATORS/TRAINERS to acquire skills in the use of digital tools to bridge the gap in terms of new competences of a learning facilitator, required from trainers/teachers working in digital environments. The specific objectives were: - Provide support to facilitators/trainers to be able to adapt to the new VET environment and the new relationships with learners - Support facilitators in their learning process through E-Pathway, a self-assessment tools, training modules, gamification tools, highly qualified teams and the provision of high-quality training - Develop an Open Educational Resource with open materials - new methods and tools -to provide quality and inclusive education/training through digital environments.
