Progressing on Digital Skills (PRO-DISK)
▶Summary
PRODISK responded to a need detected in the implementation of a previous Erasmus + funded project (LINCE) carried out between 2017 and 2019. One of the conclusions of this previous project was tha...
▶Objectives
The specific objectives of PRODISK project are the following ones: 1.- The development of a Digital Skills evaluation e-learning course to assist VET teachers to recognize and ultimately help certify the digital competences acquired by the students (from initial and continuous VET) in the development of their VET cycles. The course was based on DigComp, the digital competences framework elaborated by the European Commission. 2.- To integrate the e-learning course in a digital Learning Environment addressed to VET teachers and students. The learning environment encapsulates smartly PRODISK main result and builds on additional didactic resources. The ultimate purpose was to adopt this Learning Environment as a resource in the Curriculum of VET centres participating in our project (which we succeeded to do). 3.- To disseminate the Learning Environment in which the Digital Skills Evaluation course is integrated to VET centres in the three participating countries with the support of the official partners of the partnership and associated partners. We achieved the sustainability in the use of this result by integrating it as part of the curriculum of different VET centres and offering the products as Open Educational Results.
▶Activities
Phase A: Elaboration of a e-learning course based on DigComp to address the acquisition of digital competences. A1. Review of the proposed workplan and discussion on how to cover the range of competences within the scope of the PRODISK project in a coordinated way. A2. Creation of the didactic units of the e-learning course in the 5 areas of competence of DigComp. 10 didactic units with 2 levels of difficulty were created. Each of them was led by partners in one of the participant countries and they have the contribution from the rest. All the didactic units were created in the language of the participant countries plus English. A3. Testing and validating the e-learning course internally with the support of teachers from the partner organizations and externally with the support of associated partners. Phase B: Developing a learning environment integrating the e-learning course created in phase A. B1. Selecting and creating contextual elements to practice the digital competences mapped and integrated in the e-learning course developed in phase A. This task required to involve teachers and students in an early phase of the project through consultation processes, simultaneously to the conception of the didactic units. B2: Designing Interactive activities to practice digital competences. These interactive activities were conceived to evaluate the digital competences contextualized in activity B1. B3: Integrating technically the interactive activities in the contextualised audiovisual elements. B4: Development Learning Environment in the format of a metaverse. This activity finished PRODISK main result as an accessible open educational resource. To complete phases A and B, User's Guides to access and benefit from the didactic resources were created. In addition to these activities leading to the production of the main intellectual result of the project, we implemented transversal activities: T1: Implementation of the management plan. T2: Implementation of the quality plan. T3: Implementation of the Promotion and Dissemination plan. The specific activities T1, T2 and T3 are explained in the relevant sections of this final report. In addition, we have provided a summary report of these activities as individualised annexes to this final report.
▶Impact

Minutes, list of participants and certification of participation for the Transnational Meetings. 4. Compilation of the timesheets accrediting the deployment of human resources. 5. Dissemination plan as approved in the grant application, and described in the section “dissemination and use of project results” in this final report, including: a) dissemination objectives; b) visibility tokens (logo and project webpage) according to Erasmus + visibility policies; c) planned activities; d) multiplier events approach; e) tools to register the dissemination activities and estimate their impact; f) compilation of the dissemination activities summarising the results of the dissemination plan with indication of nature of the activity, target groups, impact reached and supporting evidences, which contributed to achieve the impact goals and facilitate the sustainability of the main product. 6. Multiplier Events individual reports, including: a) the description of the event, b) signature list and affiliation of the participants, c) evidence of the organisation of the event: agenda, pictures, presentations and other testimonials. 7. Quality Plan, as approved by the partnership. It encompasses the management and dissemination plans as contributing instruments, and it includes in addition: a) principles of evaluation; b) methodology of the evaluation; c) action plan with evaluation tasks to perform with the assistance of questionnaires, interviews and other consultation methods. Intellectual Result: First Component: Digital Skills instruction and evaluation e-learning course to assist VET teachers to recognize the digital competences acquired by the students (from initial and continuous VET) in the development of their VET cycles based on DigComp. The course is structured in two levels of difficulty and encompasses 10 didactic units. Each didactic unit focuses primarily on one specific competence of DigComp. The course is fully developed in four languages (ES, IT, PL, EN). It is an open educational resource with free access after registration in the hosting platform. Second Component: Learning Environment in the format of a metaverse encapsulating smartly the e-learning course and enabling users’ interaction to complete different challenges based on three practical cases designed to use digital competences. Both components of the intellectual output are accompanied by a User’s Guide in the four languages (ES, IT, PL, EN).
